Bill Ritchey grew up near the railroad tracks in Canton, Illinois in the 1930s. He loved to watch the Ringling Brothers unload the circus train cars and set up and tear down the canvas tents. His mother used to warn him, "Be careful. They will take you away...!" His love of the circus began with this boyhood fascination and continues today as he collects and sells circus posters and memorabilia. Prices are available upon request. Please email Bill at WRitc10385@aol.com.

Bill Ritchey,
ReplyDeleteMy mother, Melba Bain McCarthy talks about you all the time. And I happen to be good friends with a man and wife who met at the Ringling Brothers Clown/Circus College in Florida. He still travels with the Circus but his wife, who was an equestrian trick performer, is now working full time so they can start a family....Just thought I would look you up for my mother. She has your email address now...so watch for a message! :0) Love the memorabilia...I'm going to point it out to my friends.
